Photography has always been something of interest to me. particularly editorially, from the way photographs can be used to tell a story in print to how they work to hold a moment in history forever in one shot.
I first stumbled into photography when I brought my new DLSR camera along during London Fashion Week whilst interning for a PR company chaperoning celebrities, press and buyers to their seats. Once the catwalks would start, we were allowed to watch the shows too from the sidelines, so I would sneak near the press pit, whip out my camera and get snapping. Ever since I have been shooting photography during London Fashion Week where I have interchanged between Catwalk, Backstage, On the FROW and Street Style photography. I have also worked closely with Fashion PR companies and a Fashion Editorial Magazine to create social media and print coverage, something which is a fast becoming my favourite kind of photography to shoot.
WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE AND APPROACH?
My focus is always capturing the special moments that will inevitably become memories. I like to mix between shooting unobtrusive candid shots and carefully coordinated photography for group shots where structure is preferred.
Whether it is your wedding day, prom or just a blogger shoot, I am always open to your suggestions, personal taste and #InstagramGoals inspiration. If you like a particular style or mood, let me know! If you are looking for inspiration yourself, check out my moodboards here.
When it comes to shooting editorial content, I love to take a creative lead along with the stylist and model’s input to create a set of strong images that documents .
Knowing what you like and hope to get from the shoot enables me to capture authentic imagery in your favourite style. I like to think I’m in the right place at the right moment to capture the personality and emotions that are unique to every person at each wedding.
WHAT IF I’M CAMERA SHY?
With my approach to candid photography, I aim to blend in and leave you to forget about the camera and just be yourself. I also offer an engagement shoot package which is worth considering if you want to get some of your nerves out of the way before your wedding day.
DO YOU TAKE GROUP SHOTS?
Yes of course. After all everyone needs a few group shots to give to the grandparents for their mantle piece. I like to do these in a very informal relax style too. I usually recommend we take no more than 8-10 group shots and we spend a brief time doing these (15-20 mins); so you can get back to enjoying your wedding day with your friends and family.
DO YOU TRAVEL AROUND THE UK AND ABROAD?
Yes. I live in West Sussex but I travel to and from London frequently which means I am willing to travel anywhere in the UK to photograph your wedding. Weddings abroad are also a possibility, subject to location and scheduling.
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I GET?
Every wedding is different, however you can expect to receive 300-400 images fully edited and polished to a high standard.
When it comes to blogger shoot or special occasion packages, the amount of shots you get depends on the package you select. All packages can be viewed here.
CAN I HAVE BOTH CR2 & JPEG FILES?
Yes, I am more than happy to send both files over. Due to the size of these files, all CR2 images will be sent to you via WeTransfer.
CAN WE PRINT THE PHOTOS?
Yes of course. I transfer the images over via WeTransfer, so anyone with the link can view, download and print the images.
